THIERRY AT 30…
I saw him not even dare to dream that he could get up there.
I saw him win his first major crown in Broadgate.
I saw him becoming the first French to reach world Number 1.
I saw him icing the cake with a beautiful World Champion title.
I saw him dominating the rankings for a whole year.
I saw him doubt.
I saw him fall.
I saw him stand up.
And shine again.
There will be other Champions.
Other French players will get to the top. But
he was the first one, who opened the way for the others to rush in.
He’s got nothing to prove anymore.
He is.
